KEEPING IT GREEN, KEEPING IT LOCAL!

 
The Sidecar is equipped with 2 beer taps to accommodate 2, 19L commercial kegs or 1, 50L commercial keg (D style coupler) at a time. And since kegged beer is more fun, delicious & eco-friendly, we suggest using kegs instead of bottles or cans. But hey, it’s your party, bottles, cans or kegs, your choice!
Our little trailer has been specially renovated from a 1972 Classic California Camper to keep with our eco-friendly business! Check out the ‘what you need to know’ section below to see how.
To dress up your event we offer a huge selection of vintage & rustic decor, props, lighting, signage, furniture & dishwares, check out our rental items here
Need a hand setting your decor up? We offer venue set ups and late night teardowns.
Keeping it local: Our city has great local brewers such as Barnhammer, Half Pints, Torque, One Great City, Stone Angel, Little Brown Jug, Farmery & so many more. And Peachy Green Events has been locally owned & operated by Robyn Holmes since it was first established in 2012.
All packages below are for a dry bar, the client must obtain a liquor permit & supply all of the alcoholic, non-alcoholic & drink mixes, including water.
 
 

COCKTAIL HOUR WITH THE SIDECAR (2 hours)

 
This package is perfect for an evening cocktail hour party or afternoon refreshments!
Package includes:
Towing to & from the event location (additional charges apply for travel outside of the city of Winnipeg perimeter at $1/km)
Set up & teardown of the trailer within 1 hour of event start time & completion
2 hours of service with 1 certified bartender
Basic garnishes, ice and compostable cups for beer, wine & cocktails for 50 guests (minimum booking). Additional compostable cups or glassware available
20′ of string lighting for the outside of the trailer, additional lighting & props available in our rental store
$499 + taxes
Additional guests, over the minimum 50, will be charged a $3 corkage fee per guest to cover the basic garnishes, ice & compostable cups needed. For larger parties additional staff can be arranged.

THE TINY TRAILER PARTY (4 hours)

 
This package is perfect for an afternoon event or for after dinner parties.
Package includes:

4 hours of service with 2 certified bartenders

Vintage wash tubs (2) for water & non alcoholic beverages
$999 + taxes

THE ULTIMATE SIDECAR EXPERIENCE (7 hours)

 
This package is perfect for any full evening or day event.

7 hours of service with 2 certified bartenders

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

 
Photo Shoots. The sidecar is available for stand alone photo shoots for a minimum $250 fee, or pre event photo shoots when arranged, ie, before the bar is stocked, on a per hour basis.
We will supply compostable cups for beer, wine & spirits (2 cups of each kind per person), ice, lemons & limes for garnish. All other mixes, garnishes, cups or glassware or any other accessories or supplies need to be provided by the event host or pre arranged with us at an additional charge. Event host is responsible for supplying receptacles and disposal for all garbage, recycling & compostable items.
We require a 120 volt circuit plug to operate the fridge & lights. Need us to be off the grid? Let us know & we can convert to our solar panel system.
Liquor permits, purchasing & returning of alcohol are the sole responsibility of the event host (you the client). As per the LGA’s rules, Peachy Green Events is not allowed to take a permit out on your behalf. All public spaces must have a valid special events permit (or if your venue already has a permanent permit talk to them about adding a special permit to allow for the use of the space for the trailer and area, normally outdoors). Events held on private property do not require a LGA permit but the property owner takes all responsibilities & will be required to still have some sort of “fencing” to contain the alcohol.
“Fencing”, the LGA requires all areas where alcohol is to be consumed to be properly contained, ie, an outdoor beer garden must have some sort of fencing around it. This “fencing” is the responsibility of the permit holder & must be approved by the LGA, please contact them for requirements & to confirm the approved “fencing” with us no later than 30 days before the event. Don’t know what to use? We have 400′ of “fencing” available for rent upon request.
Operating times will be customized to your event. The Sidecar will call last call at 12:45am at the latest & close at 1am unless the event ends earlier.
Catering, we do not offer catering services but know so many amazing local companies that do & we would love to help organize a menu to suit your bar needs. Food is not to be served out of the trailer.
The Sidecar operates between May & October each year. Occasionally we can accomodate events during the off months if suitable arrangements can be made, ie, heating or moving indoors.
Need a hand getting your event organized? We offer event coordinating packages as well as a la carte event planning services to help take the stress off.
Additional decor rentals, props, lighting, dish wares & much more is available to rent through our online shop, plus we offer event set up and late night teardowns!

Eco-friendly renovations. We have kept everything that did not need to be replaced or adapted, reused what we could salvage, donated what could be used by someone else, used low VOC paints where we could, added LED lighting to save energy, incorporated old barn board wood & a butcher block to keep to sustainable products & will be installing a converter to run the fridge & lights off of solar panels. We were also extremely happy to find that the previous owners have all left the old board games with the trailer, nothing like playing a game of vintage Clue in the down times, also great for photo shoots.
