A little bit about who we are:
Robyn, the head event planner & owner of Peachy Green, has been passionate about the environment & organizing events her whole life. In doing so she has assembled a team of assistants & local vendors to help make your event everything you desire. With her self motivation & drive to be able to do any job in front of her from planning to plumbing, she looks forward to dreaming up new ways to make your event eco-unique & a truly memorable event for everyone.
Her eye to detail has influenced her in planning events since 2004 with her first event, a 400 person fundraiser at the St Norbert Arts Centre, in the eco community where she volunteered full time. Over the past 20 years she has successfully planned & coordinated many events, such as fundraisers, concerts, birthday parties, showers, retirement parties, weddings, trade shows, corporate functions & pretty much every event in between. Wherever she goes she tries to make any event more eco conscious, exciting & run smoother. Keeping it green from running her volunteer crews at the West End Cultural Centre, the Winnipeg Folk Festival, organizing moral boosting theme days while sandbagging during the 2011 flood, plus in running her home and office, Peachy Green strives to take every step possible to be environmentally friendly
Robyn was so pleased to release the very first mobile bar for hire in Manitoba, The Peachy Green Sidecar! While having dreamt about designing, building & running one for half of her life, the perfect vintage trailer popped up in the fall of 2017. This vintage 1972 California Classic has some stories to tell for sure but after months of freezing cold renovations over the winter of 2017/2018, Robyn & her husband Spencer made this instant hit to release to the public & look forward to many years of towing it around the country!
Spencer has been with Peachy Green Events since the beginning. His constant support & encouragement has helped Robyn transform her business from an idea into a success! While he wears many hats for the business, from event set up & late night teardown, to construction, performances, bartending & assistant coordinator, he knows all of the ins and outs of making an event a hit. Robyn couldn’t ask for a better partner in life & business.
Stacy has been a part of the Peachy Green team since 2015. She does all things social media, working trade shows plus being our second lead for styling, decorating & coordinating events. With a career of event planning under her belt, & a life long best friend of Robyn’s, she was the perfect fit to work in to a more permanent position as a team lead.
The Peachy Green team also has a crew of assistants, bartenders & stylists who help make events shine & bring your day to life. With 45+ years of event planning experience within the team, we offer exceptional customer service with a friendly relationship, all while being involved in every aspect of the event from conception to clean-up. We offer a unique list of ideas & designs, such as having an all in one event location to reduce emissions, having wedding outfits made from local makers, organic or recycled material, using jewellery made from local & recycled materials, plus renting decorations/equipment instead of single-use disposable items whenever possible. Even using seed paper for event stationary or using an event website instead of paper all together & many more eco ideas. They can recommend local, eco conscious, businesses where clients can get these items. This saves on emissions from shipping in items like flowers from South America & can support the local economy while not worrying if a company uses non fair trade or un-ethical practices.
